Junk in the trunk

What do you do when someone is tailing you while driving? I've made up a little survey, and need feedback on what you do in those situations. Take a second and give us a commment, let us know what you do when someone's ridin' your tail.

1. Do you brake check?
2. Do you make evasive manuevers?
3. Shine your brights?
4. Turn on and off your lights?
5. Moon?
6. Flash 'em?
7. Talk to them like they can hear you?
8. Shoot invisible weapons at them?

Let us know what you do!

Really, a plate or basket isn't that heavy

Hi, I'm back to writing about the things that stick out to me in the behavior and and relationship between wooden spoons and other events. There we were, eating lunch the other day, and a table off to the side of us thought that they didn't need to help the fast food place out by taking their used plates and napkins to the trash can. Instead, the folks next to us left their stuff out on the table for someone else to pick up. Now, I normally wouldn't say anything about this, but it was pretty annoying to watch their son pick up his stuff and for his mom and dad to leave their stuff on the table.

A plate with some napkins, left on the table because the person was either too busy or too self-important to grab it and help out. Wow...merry christmas. What happened to peace on earth, or goodwill to all men. Did leaving your stuff save you any time? No...because you had to wait on your son to dump his stuff in the trash. Next time, take a couple of seconds and think about what your actions are going to do in impact to another person.

Thanksgiving shopping

We're here...We made it to Thanksgiving. And I've got a lot to be thankful for. I'm married, I have some cool family, and some friends that make it easy to realize that it's not so bad around here. I do have a hard time understanding why the Friday after Thanksgiving can be so "me" based when the day before is supposed to be reflective and devoted to being ready to give back to others. I guess this is one of those reasons that we're divided people, and have so much to learn. I'll post again soon.

Traffic Referees

So, I'm just ready for us to get Traffic Referees on the roads. I'm not sure yet how we could deliver this type of thing, but I've got two suggestions:

1. Roaming "Traffic Referee" cars that could throw actual yellow flags at cars that have broken a law or that didn't break a law but caused someone to have to: Put their brakes on, swerve, or otherwise drive normally.

2. Install a "Traffic Referee" systems application to the GPS units in people's cars. The Traffic Referee could use GPS and other satellite information to determine infractions to traffic laws and charge penalties to the guilty driver.

These are just a few suggestions to get started with, but I'm working on more.

Catch you next time around.

Good thinking?!

Ah....who was the genius that decided key chain CREDIT CARDS were a good idea? Even more-who actually thinks its a good idea to put it on their keys? Its common for many of us to loose our keys. Way to induce a minor heart attack even when we misplace them!

Maybe I sound a bit negative but things have been rough for me. At least I can find humor in things still.

People Watching

One day during one of my random conversations with Jeff-we decided to start a blog of this kind. It kinda represents our usual conversation. (we do discuss serious things too.) Just add some movie and TV quotes and its set to go. Maybe its only interesting to us but you may like it too. Actually one day we were people watching at Summit Mall. My mom has always told me I was a people watcher. I still am. I have several friends that enjoy this as well. So this particular day we managed to see mullets, big hair church ladies and clearly identified the Hollister type couples. They typically would scuff their feet as they walked and had a drink or phone in their hand. They usually made multiple trips around the mall. (we were in the same place for about an hour.) The saddest award went to the guy who came with his wife and four daughter wearing-get this-a pink shirt. Hmmm.....

Oh...yeah....I really hate wooden spoons too. They really gives me the willies. Aimee-you know what I am talking about! If you like them-why? Seriously-tell me.

Mike and Ike's

Ok...I really like to eat Mike and Ike's candies. I don't know why that is the case, but I just do. In fact, I like these better than candy bars (for sure) and even better than gum! Gum just sticks around (ha!) and loses flavor after a while...but Mike and Ike's are a sweet and quick refreshment!!! Any takers?
